Outdoor Range Restrictions

Due to the threat of wildfire, the NDRGC is actively reducing the risk of ignition at their outdoor range. The range will remain open with the following restrictions in place

NDRGC Club Policy 2017.10.03 – Outdoor Range Restrictions – Fire Season

These restrictions apply to all venues at the outdoor range (Archery, Trap and rifle range)

the use of steel jacket projectiles is prohibited
– Smoking is restricted to areas with concrete floor or gravel only. No smoking downrange or over ground cover with organic material
– Shooters will maintain a fire watch for 30 minutes after cessation of shooting

Water barrels can be found at the North end of the rifle range Seacan. They have been filled and are ready to go – Also a bucket is there, and the syphon hose is primed.

Fishing Forever – June 15 & 16

The Fishing Forever event will run June 15th (Seniors, Disabled) and June 16th (KIDS!!). Set up is Friday June 14th.  All members are encouraged to volunteer for set up, or either or both days of the event. Contact Glen McKen or Brad Howard. We are particularly interested in boats powered by electric motors. We need more boat\motor combinations for Cottonwood and need a backup supply of marine\deep cycle batteries. Again Contact Brad or Glen as soon as possible. Brad Howard, 250-444-1953 bradhoward@telus.net and Glen McKen 250-505-5006
